What is architectural millwork?
Millwork is any kind of woodwork made in a commercial mill. This includes everything from wood used in the process of construction, to woodwork used to decorate an interior.
Architectural millwork falls into this second category. This kind of millwork includes things like crown molding, decorative window casings and door frames, trim along the baseboards, and basically any kind of woodwork that is meant to be used in the interior of a space in a decorative context.

Mahogany is very proud to have been able to contribute to the beautiful new Horseshoe Casino, located just south of the stadiums in Baltimore. Our work included a complete interior fit-out with custom architectural millwork.

Orchard Street Church
Mahogany received the Historic Preservation Award from Baltimore Heritage, Inc., for our work in the Orchard Street Church project. The project included a complete renovation of the interior and exterior of this beautiful and historic old church in Baltimore.

The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins
This project took us to new heights, as we supplied and installed wood paneling in the 5-story Atrium, the centerpiece of this beautiful facility. We also performed wood and laminate casework, among other interior work.
