Maryland Healthcare Contracting Projects from Mahogany, Inc.
Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital
“Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital is dedicated to providing superior health and quality of life programs along a consistent continuum of care for the elderly, frail and ill in a warm, caring environment. In a brand new facility that is comfortable, modern and state of the art, Levindale offers services that include skilled long-term, respite, dementia, respiratory and comfort/hospice care.”
The hospital recently implemented a new model it calls the Neighborhood Model, which is designed to change nursing home culture for the better. “This ideal turns rigid nursing homes into places where residents’ desires are the top priority.”
Mahogany Inc, worked on Neighborhood 1 in the Geriatric and Nursing Center for this Maryland healthcare contracting project.

Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins
“The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins, founded in 1925, is an internationally-renowned eye institution that specializes in the diagnosis and management of complex medical and surgical eye disease; and serves as a preeminent provider of routine eye care and refractive, optical, cosmetic, and eye trauma services for the Mid-Atlantic region.”
Mahogany Inc, supplied and installed the wood paneling the beautiful 5-story Atrium. We also completed other work on the site, including wood and laminate casework, solid surface countertops, doors and hardware, and more for this Maryland healthcare contracting project.
Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins
Water Reed National Military Medical Center
“Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is the Nation’s Medical Center, proudly serving military beneficiaries in the Washington, D.C. area as well as those from across the country and around the globe. As the largest military medical center in the U.S., we are a tertiary care destination providing services in over 100 clinics and specialties.”
In this Maryland healthcare contracting project, which consisted of the addition of 2 buildings on the hospital’s campus, Mahogany installed wood paneling, wood and plastic laminate millwork, reception desks and nurse stations, as well as stone, metal, and glass accents.
